Cilnia humeralis, commonly known as the wide-armed mantis, is a species of praying mantis native to Africa.
Size:
- Females can reach up to 8.5 cm in length.
- Males are slightly smaller, reaching up to 6.5 cm.
Day temperature:
The ideal temperature range for Cilnia humeralis is approximately 22-29°C during the day - very tolerable.
Night temperature:
The ideal temperature range for Cilnia humeralis is approximately 18-20°C during the night - very tolerable.
Misting frequency:
- Nymphs require daily misting to maintain adequate humidity.
- Adults should have their enclosure misted 2-3 times per week to sustain proper humidity levels.
Substrate type:
